About Eddie
Hello, and thank you for visiting my website! I’m a versatile play-by-play broadcaster based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I currently serve as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the FPHL’s Baton Rouge Kingfish. However, I also have experience broadcasting college volleyball, soccer, field hockey, softball and lacrosse for ACC Network Extra and ESPN+.
I received my master’s degree in broadcast and digital journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. While in Syracuse, I interned with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch, working as a pregame, intermission and postgame host and fill-in play-by-play voice for Crunch broadcasts on ESPN Radio Syracuse.
In 2025, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in political science. I also spent four years as a catcher on the baseball team, competing in the NCAA Division III Tournament my senior year after joining the program as a walk-on.
